Ajax installs performance-measurement system at ‘De Toekomst’ Ajax will soon begin installing an advanced performance-measurements system at the ‘De Toekomst’ Sports Park. The system is being supplied by the Amsterdam-based company Inmotio BV and is expected to be operational within several months on two pitches at the sports complex. The Inmotio system makes it possible to measure both the tactical and the physical performance of the players. The system provides information that can lead to improved performances of football players and improved training efficiency. Some areas that should be affected include improvements to the physical and tactical performance of the players, the focused preparation of the players for a particular fixture, helping to avoid injuries, developing more efficient training methods, and building up a personal player file. Ajax will be using the system in both its youth training and the A selection. « Back |
