Physically strong South Korean team makes history

As a result of the draw in the hard fought game Tuesday night against the Nigerian Team in Durban, the South Korean team made history. As the first Korean team ever they have placed themselves for the second round of a World Cup outside their own country borders.

In preparation for the World Cup, the South Koreans left nothing to chance. They have been looking out for the best products and systems in the world to work with.
Raymond VerheijenRaymond Verheijen, assistant-coach, is responsible for the physical fitness of the South Korean team. “This has led to a unique state-of-the-art program. From the start of our World Cup preparations, the team is using Inmotio’s analysing system lpmSoccer3D® every training. Thanks to the data we have collected since, we know exactly how much of training load the Koreans have produced at sea level and at high altitude. The Inmotio system adds a whole new dimension to our preparations for the World Cup. The Koreans are without doubt the best prepared team for this tournament,” said Verheijen. “It was again fantastic to watch the extreme fitness of the team.”

Inmotio congratulates South-Korea on reaching the 1/8 finals and is proud to have had a part in the preparations.
